Hey, we’re Russell & Steph!

We’re the couple behind R&S Wander Co. -- two small-town Missourians who love hitting the road, finding hidden gems, and seeing what kind of weird and wacky places we can stumble across along the way.

When we’re not traveling, we both have pretty different day jobs. Steph is a teacher and softball coach with a love for photography and capturing the moments that make every trip worth remembering. Russell is a police officer and Army veteran, a motorhead with a love for overlanding and music, and the undisputed king of finding anything labeled weird, unusual, offbeat, or “we have to see this.”

Of course, finding those places is only half the equation. Steph is usually the one saying, “Yes, let’s do it!” -- which means there’s a pretty good chance we're stopping.

That’s really how R&S Wander Co. came to life. We love road trips, but we especially love discovering the places you might drive right past if you didn’t know they were there. From roadside oddities and hidden gems to museums, attractions, restaurants, scenic stops, and everything in between, we’re always looking for our next adventure.

And when we find it, we bring you along with us.

We share our real experiences -- what we loved, what surprised us, what made us laugh, and what we think is actually worth adding to your own trip.

We’re not full-time travelers. We’re just two people with regular jobs who believe you don’t have to travel across the world to find something worth exploring.

Sometimes, the best adventures are just a road trip away.
